Dear Bedford Minor Hockey Members,

I hope your summer has been going well and you are enjoying some well-deserved relaxation.

I wanted to take this opportunity to provide an update on behalf of the executive team. Since our Annual General Meeting (AGM) in June, the executive has been meeting regularly, and we are committed to improving our communication with members moving forward.

At the AGM, the following Executive Officers were appointed by acclamation:

· President – Craig Lynk

· VP Operations – Ken Lenihan

· VP Competitive – Brian Furdas

· Secretary – Dave Denny

Since the AGM, the Executive has appointed the following Officers:

· VP Finance – Mike Hurley

· VP Development – Rob Dickson

· VP U7/U9 – Kiersten Amos

· VP Recreation – Chris Young

In addition, we have filled other key positions:

· Communications Coordinator – Leigh Anne Dingwall

· Business Development Coordinator – Mike Danton

Volunteers are the heart of our organization, and the hockey season does not run without our them. With that said we are still looking to fill several volunteer roles and will be coming out with requests to fill these opportunities to support a successful 2024-2025 season. In the meantime, if you are interested in volunteering, please reach out to an executive member —we would greatly appreciate your support.

As the season gets closer we have opened registration for Summer Development/Conditioning Camps which you can find HERE. In the coming weeks, we will provide and update on season registration, our association tryout dates/schedule which will align with the Hockey Nova Scotia Approved timeline and an FAQ to assist parents and players with general inquiries.
