Registration is officially open for the 2024-25 hockey season and will be open until Sunday, August 18th at 11:59pm.

Fees:

For the 2024-25 season the fees have had an increase for general registration and tryouts. The increase in fees is to account for the expenses we as an association are experiencing to run a successful season such as equipment updates, ice allotment and processing fees to name a few. For competitive teams, members will notice a competitive team fee that each team will be responsible for within their budget. This competitive team fee can be part of team fundraising efforts. BDMHA is running our 50/50 raffle, and we encourage all members to utilize this tool to support their individual fundraising efforts that goes directly to your player’s account for future registration fees. Credits from the 2023-24 season have been applied to your GrayJayPay account if you utilized the program. Reminder to members with any outstanding fees that you must pay that balance prior to registering for the 2024-25 season. If you have any questions regarding outstanding fees, please contact Matt Oxford at m.oxford@bedfordblues.com.

Try Outs:

To allow our members to prepare and plan for competitive team tryouts below are key dates to mark your calendars with. Further information will be provided by the end of August as it relates to our try out process once we have final registration numbers.

Hockey Nova Scotia provides the seasonal structure that all minor hockey associations follow which outlines when try outs can begin. You can find the chart HERE.

Bedford Minor Hockey Tryouts will commence on the following dates:

• U13AAA – Begin Sunday, September 15, 2024, with a tentative plan to have the final team selection completed on or before September 28, 2024
  
• The remaining divisions (U11, U13, U15, and U18) will commence on Saturday, September 28, 2024, with a tentative plan to have the final teams/groupings on or before middle of October – information will be updated once we have our final registration numbers.
• U7, U9  and Recreational evaluation / balancing sessions more details to follow 

In order to run a successful season we depend on volunteers to lend their time.We are looking for volunteers in the capacity of Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Manager and Safety Reps.
