Parents and Players,

The Recreation Evaluations will commence next week, September 29. If you are not listed on a competitive team you will need to attend the evaluation sessions so we can assess players and balance teams.

Evaluation Schedule & Groups

U11-C September 29 - 30
U13-C October 2 -3
U15-C October 4-5

Note: This year U18-C will not have evaluation sessions and players will be grouped in accordance with their highest level of play in U15 for draft purposes.

Players will be assigned a jersey on the first day of their evaluation when they check-in and return it after session 2.

All groupings are final. No changes will be made to accommodate friend requests or any other conflicts due to our compressed timeline.

Mandatory Requirements

Jerseys must not be swapped at any point during evaluations. Each jersey number is unique to one player and remains linked to that player for the evaluation process.
Players are responsible for bringing their jersey to every scheduled session.

 

No jersey = no participation. If a player does not bring their assigned jersey, they will not be permitted on the ice. Missing a session will directly impact overall evaluation.

Socks: All players must wear Bedford Minor Hockey socks or plain blue, black, or white socks. Brightly coloured socks or socks from other teams/programs are not permitted.

Volunteers - Dressing Room Monitors

We will be looking for volunteers to serve as dressing room monitors to ensure the safety and supervision of all players. We will post a link for sign up (coming soon...)

Key Reminders

Please respect the evaluation process and give space to the evaluators, who will be located in designated off-ice zones within the rink to assess players during each session.

Parents are not permitted to watch tryouts from ice level or remain in the hallway area of Rink D. Viewing must take place from the designated spectator areas only.
