Dear Members

The BDMHA executive on the recommendation of the coach selection committee is excited to announce that Dave Byrne will be joining us as the new Head Coach of the U13-AAA team for the 2024-2025 season! With his extensive experience and passion for developing young athletes, we are confident that Coach Dave will be a great addition to our program.

Coach Dave brings 20+ years of coaching which have been developed as a member of Hockey Eastern Ontario Organization (HEO) as well as a Coach in the High-Performance Program of Excellence. The past 7 years he has been Head Coach at various age groups specifically at the AAA level. Most recently he was the Head Coach for the Eastern Wild U16-AAA team as well as an Assistant Coach with the Rockland Nationals of the Central Canada Hockey League (Junior A). Coach Dave is committed to fostering a competitive, positive, and fun environment for our players. His coaching philosophy focuses on three core principles; Learning, Respect, & Integrity which aligns with the goals of our team and association.

We look forward to seeing our players grow and succeed under Coach Dave leadership this season. Please join us in welcoming him to the Bedford Minor Hockey family.
