Always goes back to ice coordinator, it is not the responsibility of the team to release game ice.

Practice Ice- Non Prime Time
SELLING
Weekdays from 6:00am to 5:00pm
Weekends from 6:00am to 10:00am

· Send an email to the ice-coordinator with the details of the ice to be sold.
· Offer up the ice for others to use by releasing it the web site (See instructions below).
The seller will be notified by the ice coordinator when the ice is claimed / purchased.
· If your ice is not claimed, go in and claim it back to remove it from the claim area.

· Send an email to the ice coordinator with the details of the ice claimed.
· The ice coordinator will email the selling team with the purchaser’s information.
· Send a cheque to the selling team.
· 6am is $149.50 per hour.
· All other ice is $218.50 per hour.

Practice Ice – Prime Time
SELLING
Weekdays from 6:00pm to 11:00pm
Weekends from 11:00am to 11:00pm

· Email the ice coordinator the information about the ice you need to sell/release.
· If ice coordinator cannot use then it is given back to team to sell or trade.

· Ice during this period will only be available to purchase if the ice coordinator cannot use it. It can be viewed by using the claim available ice option on the team web site.
· Must submit payment to selling team.

Practice Ice - Non Prime Time
TRADING
Weekdays from 6:00am to 5:00pm
Weekends from 6:00am to 10:00am

· Email all B&DMHA Coaches and Managers using the email distribution list supplied by the ice coordinator.
|
· Contact the trader directly and make appropriate changes to each team’s schedules.
· Contact the ice coordinator only after trade has been made to notify of changes to schedule.

Weekdays from 6:00pm to 11:00pm
Weekends from 11:00am to 11:00pm

How to release and claim ice on the Bedford Web site:
PLEASE NOTE: If you claim an ice time then you must contact the Team (Manager, Coach, etc.) to make arrangements for payment.
For Practice Ice only
To Release: First select the "Add-Edit-Delete Practices" in the Schedule Tools section of your admin page. Then click the "Edit" button next to the affected practice. At the bottom of the screen, click the button to "Offer Venue to another Team". An email will be sent to all Head Coaches identified on the web site for each team.
To Claim: First Select the "Claim Available Practices Time" in the Schedule Tools section of your admin page. Then click the "Claim" button next to the practice you want. Click OK to accept the ice – it will put the entry into your schedule".
